Don’t be afraid, when you make a mistake to hit the brake and re-evaluate. During that wait, you may be able to create situations that deflate. Don’t hesitate when you need to change course. Especially when the writing’s on the wall. You cannot just make it the way by force. The inevitable will only be stalled for so long.
When you decide, know what has been your guide. Understand the reasons for your likes. Beware of the selfish and the narrow focus Don’t be close-minded – Keep it open. It’s not only your perspective, Others have a part in the show. You’re one of many electives from which all can learn and grow.
It’s not always about winning the race. How you get to the finish is of importance too. Your values and morals should stay in place. They should drive how and what you choose to do. Your biggest race in life is being Human. That should show in whatever you’re doing. Don’t be distracted by the worldly cause. Life’s fulfillment is not just from praise and applause. Always give respect and speak the truth. No approval needed for you to complete what you should do. It’s about the good and the right. Not just for yourself, but also keeping others in sight.
Be careful of what others ask of you. To yourself, always stay true. Know what you stand for and stand for something. Don’t be that person who is all about nothing. Others will try to influence your thinking. They will want for you to take a side. Make sure the side you end up choosing would be of your joy and pride. Recall what they said and what they did. Don’t let your memory be short-lived. Even if a tiger sheds its stripes, it doesn’t mean it’s domesticated.
Surround yourself with people who also want to restore and build. It’s not all about bulldozing or about a hunt and a kill. For some it’s about being negative. They aim to divide and conquer. But when it’s done with positive It goes a long way and stands stronger.
You don’t need a dramatic stop, like a bull in a China shop. There are marks that you make from the paths you take and the people you encounter throughout the day – an individual, a group, the Universe too. And if you have children – They hear what you speak, see what you do. They learn how to treat others and that often circles back to you.
At times life moves us in circles. And those circles can become our life. Then we are forced to make a choice in order to survive. We either choose to go with the flow or steadily stand our ground. We sometimes go for the tornado. Other times we need the merry-go-round. Sometimes we choose and lose. We don’t get the win And our lives, as it is now, end in a tail spin.
It will be a shame to do the same again. Now that we have another go-around. This is our chance to dump the hurricane And hop on the merry-go-round.
