Republican attacks are not to extremists or those who pose as a danger to Americans.
It’s whoever and whatever is seen as an opposition to Republicans.
McConnell boldly claims, his one hundred percent aim is a Biden fail.
Their fidelity to power is what motivates and drives.
They are not really leading but are responding to what makes their base thrive.
Republican voters, grooming their leaders to tell them what they want to hear.
Is that their response to being led by fear?
Truth will be too much of a scare?
Republican leaders no longer have the courage to speak power to truth.
Doing whatever they can to control the outcome at voting booths.
The amoral reacting to the misinformed.
And the misinformed telling the amoral what should be done.
This synergy between the Republican leaders and their voters.
Leading to America’s makeover.
The warnings are there.
Will enough Americans care?
Today, to be in good standing with the GOP,
you must suppress any gene of honesty and shame.
Don’t align with the names of those who had the courage to proclaim
that the 2020 election wasn’t a steal.
But endorse that Trump’s martyrdom is real.
Even when there is something you don’t believe you must agree as his minion.
Submit to his dominion.
Though rules and regs were never a let of the Republican set.
Theirs, you must embrace.
And with no disgrace, keep with Trump’s pace.
All along, just as with Trump, the service was never for the people.
And the stance for democracy was always feeble.
Years of gerrymandering, redistricting, changing rules.
Bringing cruel into their politics.
Politicians bought out by big business and special interests.
If that isn’t corrupt, what is?
It’s very evident that Trump is still the shepherd to the Republican sheep.
Never mind how extreme.
He takes people over the cliff – no matter how steep.
Their eyes are only for him.
And only to him will they be listening.
At each meet and greet, his paws dig deep,
He is very convincing and people, no matter what, they continue believing.
So much evidence present, showing he’s not in it for them.
But reason and reasonable are now off–menu items.
You have to actively seek in order to find them.
Covid-19 exposed Trump’s weakness.
He is there in health, wealth and when all seems well.
But not in crisis or sickness.
The pandemic put a stick in his spoke.
No, he didn’t cause Covid, but when Covid came, he choked.
Just as Republicans show – skilled at being the opposition.
But not good at solving problems.
Which is what you would want from your government.
Always needing an enemy or something to oppose.
That’s how Trump managed to slip in as hero.
But when America was desperate for lead.
His instinct was to retreat, and his solution – create another reality.
Like the one who is best at pursuit and seduce.
And when that ends, he cuts himself loose.
To stay Republican, you have to take truth for a spin.
Then add your lack of credentials to it.
No longer in good taste, for feel good or comedy.
Only horror, horrific and in bad taste movies.
All for aggravate, scream and shout.
Not for calm, desirable or to help out.
Under ethical and moral, it’s not acceptable to act like this.
But it makes it worse as the World has been experiencing a pandemic.
What a time for them to fixate on tribal and political.
They must have realized that made it more ripe –
Thus the provision of a critical time to take advantage
And gain traction for their advances.
It’s never a good time for leaders to stand by or turn a blind eye.
When those they lead endure the worst, leadership is needed most.
It should be the leaders’ will and duty to find them relief.
They who have the power to do what it takes to relieve the people’s grief.
But the voters get what they voted for.
They’ve been keeping blinders on through their leaders’ wrongs.
They vote in the ones who spew hate, instigate and show devilish traits.
So they too share the blame.
It’s disheartening to know how many Americans are tolerant
of lawmakers playing favorites in politics.
They likely would say that they don’t, but it shows in their
likes and with their votes.
Sometimes what people deny live with their speech.
Ring loud and clear with their forwards and tweets.
And what they say is a no go.
Is accelerated with their votes.
You can always try to block what you view.
Use lies and denies to disguise you.
But you can’t hide the heart of what is you in truth.
In the end the soul tends to show itself.
The core that defines you will at some point shine through.
Hopefully you can face death with little or no regret.
Not because you lied to yourself.
But out of the honesty, honor and dignity that you followed or led.
