Americans have been for quick, easy and convenient.
They don’t like strict or limit but free and lenient.
Yet they don’t oppose as Republicans restrict the Right to vote.
And it’s not that they just started,
Black and Brown have always been targeted.
For years Republicans enjoyed the convenience of mail-in.
But then the opposition used it –
Deemed now to be unsafe and open to fraud.
So Republican lawmakers are calling them off.
They are also putting in place to over-ride at will, the winner voted in.
To replace with their stand-in.
They have been carving to get and keep their lead.
So Americans may or may not get a chance to vote
for the way they want America to be.
It is never a good sign when a Party denies
law abiding, hard-working citizens their voting Rights.
And when a Party sides with stripping the power of the opposition.
As well as those who stood with truth to certify elections.
Paving the path, for their power and reign to last.
Republicans are trying to hide their pink elephants behind curtains of hypocrisy.
Ignoring their transparencies.
And they brand their opposition to be an ass.
Vying for collapse.
But asses are built to carry heavy loads.
Lord knows, history shows that when Republicans have gone for erode.
Democrats come in to build back.
And it will take more than identity politics and culture wars.
If America is to get back on track.
The Republican way has been to take away, without replace.
Leaving gaps and holes in our society.
When people have needs, [not wants], and have no legitimate way to get.
What should we expect?
When some see Black and Brown mainly as doers of wrong.
When society believes government entities should not try to level the playing field.
They instead back incivility and strikes against democracy.
When people accept a political party that has no respect for regs and rules.
Dismember their own for speaking power to truth.
It’s no longer cracks and holes that we are dealing with.
They’re creating an abyss.
Imagine – government lightening the load of their citizens is a greater sin.
Than the doings of conmen, thieves and terrorists.
Bill Barr didn’t serve as America’s AG.
He was there as protector and henchman for the Commander and Chief.
Blatant lies and cover-ups.
Killing truths that should have been made available to US.
And it’s not just what is being revealed under Democrat rule.
It’s what’s been told by Trump appointees too.
Republicans perpetuate that there was a Deep State.
While the Trump Administration were plotting to deflate
all who didn’t follow his dictate.
Damning evidence doesn’t just come from the Left.
Often it is seen from their own.
Who have the will and courage to show the many wrongs that they willingly do.
But even as their darkness shines through.
Americans are content to stand back and stand by
As they would in ordinary times.
Republicans are there only to scratch the surface of any identified cause.
Not to dig deep and get to the root of it all.
That’s because for them, problems are their weapons.
No longer do they have intent to serve their constituents.
It’s more about the climb to get as high as they can.
So they choose to rule by fear.
Not handle with care.
Gain power, not for doing.
Merely for the choosing.
As they did with the supreme-court judges.
As they achieved with redistricting.
With their placement of so many judges at the federal level.
Their voting and anti-riot bills.
Carving a way so there is no disputing what they say or do.
Grooming their members to follow in their groove.
Expunge and flush anyone who dares to mouth against the Party’s message.
They are no longer reliable representatives.
But give in to their Party’s leadership.
This is the Republican Government, Republicans seem to want.
If they can’t have it all, their preference is for all to fall.
It’s not just a deliberate do that makes a crime.
Sometimes it’s the intent behind a say or why someone remains silent –
That indicates they too should serve time.
Other times if you choose not to do.
Especially when you have a chance to –
That makes you an accomplice too.
That’s where many Americans stand.
Those who continue to vote Republican.
Guilty of sanctioning violence.
Allowing politicians to use politics as a weapon.
Making it acceptable for them to arm themselves with guns.
And when there was a chance, didn’t say this is not how it should be done.
No, you didn’t pull the trigger.
But you weren’t just a by-stander.
You’ve been a willing participant.
Helping them take aim.
And when it comes to killing –
The killer and the accomplice are pretty much one and the same.
