Despite all the sins.
All the problems that Trump and Republicans bring.
Many Americans stick with them as they say they are for life.
Even though so many now have pro-choice on their mind.
Pro-Life was another time when there was no sacrifice to them.
From a distance, it was easy for them to make judgments.
Women were being told they must save each precious soul.
No matter the life or living circumstance.
But now when it comes to those who judged before.
They are falling short with their lame song and dance.
There is to be no accountability or acceptance of responsibility.
All they can see is their Right to be free.
How do the religious defend this?
They say nothing but then take aim at Biden.
Who has said he is against abortion but also for choice.
They’ve dismissed that reasonable voice.
Which speaks to the level of free-will.
Supposedly a Christian teaching.
But there seems to never be enough that Biden can do.
He is not able to prove that he is not the devil’s spawn.
As right-wing has poisoned people’s minds.
Religious stood by or have contributed to demonize not just him, but all that’s to the left.
So they can position themselves to take whatever there is to get.
Imagine Biden is being blamed for not getting a hold on Covid.
Already forgotten all that Trump hid and the damage that he did?
When it’s been Trump and the right that pump America with lies.
The fact that the pandemic was and is still being politicized.
They cheered when Biden didn’t meet the goal of vaccinating 70 percent.
He’s had to budget from taxpayer’s money for public announcements.
He’s been pleading directly to the people.
While at all levels Republicans continue with deceitful.
No assistance or cooperation.
Only obstruction from the opposition.
Not holding to account the obstructionists.
And instead, penalizing the ones trying to provide sustenance.
Gridlock after gridlock caused by Republicans.
While the world is watching.
The American government is circling.
With one side blocking, there is nothing to show in the end.
Because Republicans have decided only to condemn.
For many Americans, double standards are a willing embrace.
Especially when it’s to their advantage, or for their case.
But should the tables start to turn.
Realizing they can get burnt.
That’s when it’s seen as a travesty.
And then comes a demand for fairness and equality.
Often what the right accuses the left of doing, is what they are about
themselves.
Propaganda, corruption and betrayal of public trust courtesy the Republican cartel.
Conservatives claim they are for limited government.
That such empowerment should never be abusive nor intrusive.
However, on one end, Conservatives have gone extreme.
They seem to deem any movement from government as an over-step.
Although, that is only relevant when the leader is to the left.
But governments are there to rule.
Ruling is a governing tool.
Not to misused or overused.
Ironically, as Republicans do.
Republicans have been playing favorites.
Big business and those peddled by lobbyists.
Then there are the top two percent.
Which Republicans gladly represent.
Trump as president even tried to extend gains solely to Republican States.
And to others, he threatened to take away.
Republican governors and other entities copying.
Offering ease and relief to those supporting them.
Neglecting or oppressing others, showing no care.
Despite the burdens so many now bear.
And when it’s to their political gain, they don’t hesitate to dictate.
Even if it’s to corporations.
To which they’re usually slack when it comes to regulations.
No consistency or fairness.
Baseless, reckless, selfish.
And obviously they have been abusing their power.
Like predators, they readily stalk and devour.
Republicans have been so strict when it comes to giving to the poor.
They often limit, can’t give or expand any more.
Yet they readily open doors and widen the course for those already well-off.
The Voting/Civil Rights Act was passed more than fifty years ago.
And people of color have less rights and equality now than at that Act’s first go.
Georgia is purging 18500 voter rolls.
Other States setting for Republican legislators to do election overthrows.
Catering to a certain section of the population.
Their discretion and their decisions.
Based on those who they coax for votes.
Catering to preferences, beliefs and perceive.
Not on what’s the best policy or benefit for civility and community.
Texas not requiring masks in schools.
But also putting in place as a State rule –
No notification to parents if there is a positive Covid-19 test.
Regardless of science, technology and intelligence –
Republican leaders know best.
They have mastered the message.
Minimizing and masking intent.
And what is meant, depends.
It’s in this kind of atmosphere that all are expected to flourish.
Knowing darn well it will be to the detriment of the have-less, have-nots and under-nourished.
People are, and are just fighting to be.
They are not asking for government hand-outs or charity.
They just want equal access and opportunity.
A chance to take steps like all the rest.
Nothing more, nothing less.
They are being denied basic Humane Rights.
By those who should be in for their fight –
Law makers, politicians, religious, even Christians.
Who are supposed to be for cohesion, not vicious.
And if even ambassadors to Divine can twist their minds to promote unkind.
While changing the rules to justify cruel.
Where does that leave our society?
When those in positions to help, declare the ones needing the help are the enemy?
