Americans are being drawn to ones desperate for attention.
They are into worshiping those who deliver abuse.
Finding every excuse for them to stay.
As long as Republican is after their name.
But it’s a different team.
And a different playing field.
The games are being rigged.
Not just when it comes to voting.
But an all-out assault throughout different aspects of our living.
The emphasis has been on their taking, not giving.
Attempts to deliver on the message of not losing is enough of a game plan.
That keeps their fans returning to the stands.
The Party has been stripped.
Under new management and re-equipped.
Despite the change, the team has kept its name – Republican, GOP, Conservative.
But historically, they were never like this.
Now playing by their rules.
Attracting a different kind of fan base too.
Team members like Pence, McCarthy, Graham and some of the rest, at times play under duress.
Fielding foul balls.
Relinquishing their power to make the calls.
Sometimes excluded from the group that huddles to make decisions.
They tend to not make use of the present knowledge or available equipment.
Tasked with preventing the opposition from making a score.
They are not hesitant to declare war or initiate scuffles.
Show no sportsmanship, just a showcase of muscles.
Finding ways to unfairly pitch.
Looking for someone to lynch.
Refusing to stand on the ethical mound and return to moral ground.
Often suspending the fairness of play.
And the play can only continue as they say.
Bullying those on the other side has become a signature move that the team executes with pride.
Use of aggression and distraction.
Whatever it takes to overpower the opposition.
Their objections and gripes are based on lies.
They believe that they can’t win if there is fair play.
So they fix wherever they can to ensure for their gain.
Even recruiting players from outside of their league.
Encouraging their fan base to engage in mean,
They incite the spectators to be rude, interfere, interrupt and rage.
And those on their same page – to not lose – eagerly oblige with no constraint.
Playing by rules and with sportsmanship are now too mundane.
So they poke to excitement and for adrenaline – to be entertained.
But many don’t appreciate the power of reinforce.
Emboldening what is allowed to come forth.
It will continue its course.
Even when and if it’s not desired any more.
As people are accepting of the tricks.
They will become built-in.
What was on the outskirts and extreme – Are now mainstream.
The previously unacceptable has become the way to go.
The used-to-be far right Conservatives are now the moderates.
And moderates joined the extremists.
The ticker keeps moving.
So be sure that you are truly invested in the team for which you are rooting.
That you’re really into the game that is playing.
Know what you can tolerate.
Be aware of what they’ve allowed through and banned from entering the gates.
Because we will be in their stadium for a while.
They’ve gone through trials and are in the in-it-to-win-it phase.
They are now battling to their end-game.
If Americans are not aware that this is where the game has reached.
America as we know it is in for defeat.
