Giving Life to their Batteries

If businesses had true interests for a well-kept society.
Their main focus will not always be profit and money.
Sadly, that has been the mentality of many – big and small.
Siding only with the GOP no matter their call.
Because the GOP historically allow a free for all.
Don’t allow for trickle-down and fairer scales.
So controlling politicians has taken up so much of Corporations’ space.
No, it’s not a sin to desire profiting.
It’s the means and methods they choose and are using.
When the lead is taken over by greed and people aim for that breed to succeed.
Society, Community and Country are no longer the priority.

Small establishments too, want to operate like big businesses do.
Despising rules and regulations.
Anti-taxation.
Instead of going for policies that keep businesses real.
Doing for their employees.
People are set to believe that what is placed to protect them.
Are assaults to freedom, for control and to dictate.
And even when there is an epic fail or wrong is done.
People go along with no correction.
Opening for themselves and others to be exposed to harm again.
And instead of voting for what makes government work, people are in for erase.
Which often will make it more difficult for their case.
A society without government is not a realistic concept.
And as we accept for dark money to infiltrate and take hold.
People unknowingly follow their lead.
For their interests and to their speed.

Businesses that saw huge benefits even as many Americans did worse.
Have not put in any motion to help reverse.
Even though all around, prices have taken a sharp rise.
It costs a lot more to get the basics needed in our lives.
And even then, many higher ups have not seen grounds for trickle-down.
No wage increase, no sharing of wealth.
Despite the hardships and set-backs we know many have felt.
And there is so much gripe and fuss for government to give the stimulus.
While even lawmakers refusing those bills are still able to collect.
They re-direct and set for themselves to stay un-checked.
And some are not just after the monetary rewards.
They are after the social media force.
Garnering the likes and the clicks.
As if that gives them purpose and makes them tick.
The more they can keep their followers following, the more power they have to carve as they want.
With no deterrent.
Profit continues to be the bottom line.
Expecting long hours and multiple tasks without compensation or payment of overtime.
Even using tactics to not pay out.
Not caring about employees being stretched or burnt out.
Trying to get higher paid employees to leave prematurely.
So they can hire others at a lower salary.
Hiring at a level to pay the least benefits has been a known trick.
No hesitance to obtain such through premature firings.

Why are tax-breaks to the rich okay?
And the middle-class has to give to the money pot in so many ways.
The lack of contribution by the top, just as well, adds to the Nation’s debt.
And how is it that cuts to them are not seen as government subsidies?
If government waves what they should be paying to society?
Why should the doors always close to the poor?
While the top few are always excused from paying their dues?
And why are Republicans who vote against a bill able to take credit for it?
People can’t be that stupid!

Any talk about fairer taxation to the very rich is met with resistance.
With the implication that after they are sucked dry.
The rest of US will become the source of the government’s money supply.
When in truth the dent to their wealth is often not felt.
Since it’s to their income that taxes are usually directed.
And that tends to be negligible compared to what they invested and their other gains.
Not to mention there are other forms of taxes which are not as impactful to them or from which they skillfully escape.
And when government can’t pay the bills.
They increase by fines, fees and other taxes still.
Which the ordinary man gets hit with.
But the GOP and rich successfully put fear into people’s heads.
And without hesitation, the man on the street does the bidding for the protection of the riches’ wealth.
And the likes of McConnell again make the false claim that people are not of means because they failed to invest and decide appropriately.
Coming from a man who married into a wealthy family.

Many Americans choose to align themselves with what their leaders and heroes do.
And to do so they tend to assign their minds to believe in their truths.
But to accomplish such goals, many have sold their souls to the now conservative and extreme right.
It’s to their doctrine that many choose to bite.
Dressed to be more palatable.
Pressed to be more accessible and acceptable.
And instead of holding people accountable.
They join in their wrong doing.
That is what many Americans are choosing.
Even if America’s millionaires and billionaires cheat America’s systems why should you – do as the crooks do?
It doesn’t mean that you should, just because you could.
You of all people should understand the ramifications.
The real life consequences and implications.
It may be tolerable to skim here and there.
But many choose to go all out with – I don’t care.

So instead of fixing the systems and closing the loop holes.
Many Americans join the wrong-doers in their bid to keep them open.
So they too can cash in.
But as we keep giving more power, privilege, riches and escape to the top.
We are actually restricting to the have-less and the have-nots.
When it comes to the dollar, the multi-millionaires are free to do as they please.
Even as the GOP keeps tightening their leash on the ordinary man’s liberties.
As the rich and the GOP stride hand in hand.
They continue to convince the ordinary man that keeping their way paved is in the best interest to his gain.
When he is really setting himself up for less.
This trick by the right have brought them continued success.
So as the economic K-shape is being solidified.
The wealth gap, though increasing, is being justified.
And it’s not just to the big business and rich’s monetary build.
But to the power that accompanies it.
Power begets powerful to do as they would.
An exponential increase to their worth.
Aptly disguised as the ordinary man’s street to the American Dream.
When it’s really the schemes of the wealthy and the GOP’s over-reach.
Do we even think about what this all means to ordinary folks like you and me?
As we keep giving life to their batteries.
