Dancing with the Regime

Republicans have been given the green light to lie, defy and terrorize.
Forcing people out of positions.
Replacing them with their enforcers and minions.
This is what has been happening in our “democratic” Republic for some time.
And Americans are exercising their Right to stay blind.
A man and a Party not wanting to lose.
Going to great lengths to prevent people from exercising their Right to choose.
Some of them are not just with a will to instigate.
It’s in their DNA to participate.
Trying to overthrow what is legitimate.
Attempting a coup.
At any and every level they can construe.
Yet they remain in their positions of lead.
Even as they continue to deceive and plot.
Anticipating that it would not take too much to win the next cycle.
Already threatening to “investigate” and “prosecute” their rivals.
Politicians doing wrong.
Allowed to govern as they want, with no accountability.
Who would think that’s the reality in America’s society?

Initially to some, these types of regimes seem comforting.
Or people fail at recognizing.
Even as there is tightening of the grip, people dismiss or repress any fears.
Chalking it up to men being debonair.
The regime keeps people focused on words as it guides moves.
Get people believing to their ways and truth.
People fail to realize they are under the spell.
When they are told, they ignore because they feel and perceive that they are well.
The GOP regime have shown they are skilled and have the will to manipulate.
Knowhow to customize the bait.
Bold to do.
Brass to see themselves through.
They feel the thrill as they conquer and kill.
Break others to their will.
Power, attention and prestige are their driving force.
That which determines their course of action.
Deliberately dividing people into factions.
Targeting, to seemingly cater to needs.
Obviously leading astray and blatantly contradictory.
Yet they ably engage.
Even as they change and re-arrange.
They circumvent standards, ethics and morals.
Reframing any feelings of discomfort to immensity of the moment.
As they implement different methods for controlling.

People who are less informed are dumbed down.
They start to believe in one ideology and that there is one way for all to be.
But that limits our potential for understanding and gaining empathy.
Because we will no longer be exposed to differences and other people’s reality.
That goes as they limit diversity.
How can we comprehend what’s happening today and avoid repeating mistakes, if we erase information about our journey?
We are no longer free when we stop thinking critically.
Yet many are into putting out the lights that shine to expand our minds.
Putting their energies to the support of one kind.
As that becomes the people’s mainstay.
They are less likely to know when they are being betrayed or led astray.

The GOP is now dictating what we and our kids should and shouldn’t read.
Yet that is not what their minions see.
A small group decides.
The majority’s choice is set aside.
Some stand with the GOP because they are in agreement with their list.
But that’s narrow-mindedness.
As the bigger point is being missed.
That in a “democratic” Republic this is what they are enforcing.
Imagine – book bans and Americans are staying silent.
Or are stating – Yes they can.
In some States Republicans are redistricting.
Putting more weight to the votes for their candidates.
Rigging the system for their wins.
That’s what they’ve accused Democrats of doing.
While they are the ones implementing.
Americans side with them, doing nothing.
Ron Johnson and others having many in US believe that neither government nor society is responsible for the Nation’s babies.
If that is true – why does he and his Party force for them to be born?
A woman is scorned when she decides it’s too much for her to bear.
Yet government and society need not show care or provide after they dictate she can’t abort.
That’s the regime’s current thought.
That kind of irregularity and inconsistency plagues the right.
Lack of equality and fairness as people fight for their lives.
And those who perceive they are grand or that they should have the upper-hand are supporting their dance.
But many are more in a hole than they realize.
Their decisions can come back to bite.

Governor DeSantis has been called out for making decisions without informing the public.
Even implementing against the People’s will.
Many who did and will continue to vote for him fled from this type of leadership.
And ironically are protesting that the U.S. government intervene to free their Country of Cuba, while they are voting to deprive people in America.
They have been voting in dictators, allowing the GOP regime to rise.
Is it because of people they despise or their hunger for a prize?
Watching Americans fall to what is being dictated.
Is it because they do not see themselves as one of the targeted or ill-fated?
It’s hard to believe that they cannot see similarities between the GOP and the Castro regime.
Their journey and tactics may not be exact but there is much overlap to their end-game.
For the leverage of power that they aim.
The lack of compassion and being devoid of shame.
They do not empathize and easily terrorize.
It’s to their give and for their take away.
For their permanent stay.
It can’t be more clear.
Except if you don’t want to see what’s there.

Republicans and Trump broadcast what they want to do.
Anyone who votes them in are for that agenda too.
Self-justification of wrong-doing and sin won’t bring forgiveness or absolve you from it.
Even if your moves are from an instinct to protect, you aren’t off the hook yet.
You’re guilty as well.
Hitler and Castro will swear that what they did was best and right.
That is to what many have signed.
For someone to be pleased with this type of regime, there must be similarities – whether of ideology, belief or character.
We are telling who we are by our decisions and choices.
As we side with those who think some are not worthy enough to have their voices heard.
So we too set out to silence their words and remove their Rights.
It’s all in plain sight.
People who fled from such rule to here, were on the opposition’s team.
But here and now they’re dancing with the regime.
The authoritarian groove didn’t just recruit a crowd from Cuban soil.
They enlisted many more.
Some who lived here for years and newer comers from just about everywhere.
