Once Russia was a concern.
How the tables have turned.
Putin hasn’t changed.
He’s inflamed by Ukraine’s quest to stay independent.
Yet Republicans accept him more than they do Biden.
Putin and Orban – leaders admired by Conservatives.
Wanting America to follow their blueprint.
Some want US to distance from democratic allies and global.
Atrocities in other Countries have nothing to do with US, let’s keep it local.
Somehow, we can’t afford to align with the Climate Accord.
Our contribution to green glasshouse emissions are to be ignored.
No bipartisan efforts to solve.
To resolve anything, is not a win for the planet or the Country.
But a foot hold to the Democrats.
And Right-wing can’t have that!
Some States are fighting for open gun carry.
Not in a hurry to address mental health, gun violence or anger management.
When companies lose profits or fail, they’re bailed.
When they do wrong with negative impact to the public.
They don’t have to fix.
Even as consumers suffer they score big.
It’s becoming more apparent that privatizing government services does not necessarily add to efficiency or improvements.
And provide opportunities for embezzlement.
Often, by the time they’re exposed, the damage can’t be undone.
Some would already have paid their politician to take a light fall and move on.
All along, Right-Wing Conservatives’ moral compass has been for birth.
They’ve refused to extend it to quality of life and the individual’s worth.
Ignore other issues at stake – health, emotional turmoil and pain.
Will those who restrict, ever consider the complexity of the conflict?
Not simplify it as they sit on their high horse and judge?
No circumstance to budge.
Will they ever think about the benefits of a “village”?
They demand a standard of care from the one who bears.
Then they abandon her.
Just as they do the child, after the birth.
Italy, Israel and European States have led the way in the experience of Covid – Prevention, spread, infection and deaths.
Able to see the efficacy of the vaccine.
The statistical trends.
America in rear, able to plan and prepare.
But the intrusion of identity politics and politicizing have clouded how we think.
Instead of using other people’s experiences for learning, growing and rising above.
We stuck ourselves in the mud.
The Parent Rights in Education Act eliminates any discussion about gay and transgender plus.
It cuts kids off.
No opportunities for them to seek comfort and guidance while in school.
And for some, home is likely not an option to.
Again, judgments made.
It never was that teachers and school personnel indoctrinate and convince children to be gay.
All of this – a political play.
And an attempt to suppress, control and obliterate.
As if the removal of the word “gay” guarantees straight.
Banning certain books leads to the removal of historical, cultural, social content, context and significance.
Writing off literary greats who reflect different dates, styles and times.
That demonstrate the evolution of how and why as people write.
Limiting our eyes and ears to the ways we want to think.
Making our experiences, knowledge and options shrink.
Ironically, banning information and discussion can be an acknowledgment of problems.
Making a statement that there is no desire or intent to solve them.
So as CRT and gender identity are being shelved.
Bigotry, racist feeds, radical and extreme are given stairs.
The “secular” acceptance and tolerance of people who seem and feel a certain kind of different, ought to be met with disgust and punishment.
People fighting for Civil Rights and equal access are violent, are of the terrorist kind.
So they must be tried, fined and silenced.
Those who disagree with the Conservatives’ religious depictions of how man “ought” to be and definition of family, are a menace to society.
There is one manner of prayer and worship.
What’s deemed as acceptable and appropriate.
Opposition to them – well that’s persecution!
Criticism is perceived as execution.
It’s only maltreatment when it’s against the right.
While the right are allowed to do anything that constricts and cramps the other side.
All described are from and to Conservative and Right-wing.
Whatever they’re doing – they are just being patriotic and protective.
They are allowed to stay in their bubble and live.
It’s to their belief, way of life and language.
Others ought to conform.
They define the norm.
Adjustments are for others to make.
Rules – only they can bend and break.
“Double standards” can be used when it comes to their living.
Less of their giving for community gain.
Similar to the rich and privileged campaigns.
Personal sacrifices represent the taking away of their Rights.
So against that they must fight.
Impulses to dominate were once contained.
But today, they can’t be restrained.
And they’re ploughing their way through.
To what they see fit to do.
They seek to restrict and confine what they don’t like.
Take over as many fields to plant their seeds.
With assumptions and projections, they’re just staying a step ahead.
They feel justified believing that others will do the same to them.
They’re in so tight, they’ve lost sight of the words and labels they once used to describe themselves.
What they previously would and wouldn’t accept.
What was once considered to be over-steps.
Many may deny and claim none of this to be true.
But their indifference, actions and votes reflect the views.
There is no denying they are being groomed and fine-tuned.
That many are separating themselves from truth.
As long as they fail to confront what truly ails.
What ails will remain.
Avoidance, hypocrisy and dormancy may provide temporary comfort and relief but they do not solve.
They may hide and silence, but they don’t heal, absolve, dissolve or wipe out.
America is in a space where Conservatives not only think that they know what’s right, but that their way is best.
Though for them, it’s no longer to correct.
It’s how to get at, assault, and rage a full blown war against the left – the enemy, the threat.
So America’s problems are no longer their own.
They’ve long abandoned those.
They aim to win the culture wars and “own” the Libs.
That’s what strongmen like Putin and Organ did.
Copycat Conservatives now use immoral and amoral methods to get in.
Once they’re in, they won’t consider stopping.
They will continue to strike the culture wars as Putin and Orban do.
When would people realize that these types of feuds are set for the instigators and influencers to win?
Who aren’t in this to serve or give.
And they don’t give a care how their minions live.
When would Americans realize – Not all battles are worth the fight or sacrifice!
