So much energy on the right goes to “owning the libs”.
The GOP is no longer into fair and just governing.
As if “libs” aren’t American citizens.
Making decisions, not only to favor some but to provoke or rile the other side.
With that on their mind they often cross the line of decency and humane.
They lose sight of where they are taking America and from where they came.
As we evolve, we often attract what we’ve become.
At times it’s difficult to see the difference.
From where we were to our current location.
Failing to see irrational and absurd, when all we seek is validation and those who approve our journey and destination.
Do Americans realize that when social, cultural and religious are politicized, it’s been from the right?
Readily embraced by those lawmakers and politicians.
Used by Republicans to implement policy and determine the law of the land.
On the left, such stays on the level of social, not weaponized by Democratic leaders.
Democratic lawmakers are not the ones pushing or focusing on “woke”.
They aren’t the ones demanding pronouns beyond “him” and “her”.
They didn’t highlight CRT.
All of these have been exposed by right-wing, latched on to and promoted by the GOP.
As they did with Replacement Theory and so many absurd conspiracies.
It becomes their talking points, made into political fronts.
Blown to become major concerns.
Creating their own scoring board for their agenda and justification.
From blatant lies to subtle disguise, they light the ills of President Biden and his Administration.
Easy to detail problems but it’s with vagueness that they attack solutions.
When they have something to present, it’s of little effect.
Or doesn’t really address the Country’s needs.
It’s usually fodder for the extremists to eat and oxygen for the supremacists to breathe.
Marking and molding the minds of all who are willing to listen.
Blinded by their polarized vision.
Those wanting to believe whatever is said.
Even in the presence of contradictory evidence.
They’ve made it known that they will stand firm.
Choosing to encase their minds and enslave their souls.
What Master says, goes.
Deception used to be a bad word.
Now and integral part of right-wing’s world.
As they troll, express woes and attempt to meet their goals.
All who continue to vote Republican are priming deception to become all-American.
So many can’t still be confused nor are they being duped.
It’s a choice, to adore leaders like Trump and/or endorse his brand of Republican.
Insane, in the presence of insane, negates.
It’s not surprising to them that all will seem normal.
Especially when there is removal of critical thought.
Distancing themselves from what they thought was wrong.
Right-wing has strayed.
Without shame, they play political games.
Believing it’s acceptable to use the vulnerable and poor to score points.
But those they target, despise and spite, are lives.
They fight hard for the Rights of the life in the womb.
But when the lives are in the world, they can’t rid of them too soon.
The babies, children and families they say they value.
People already experiencing hard times, traumatized, taken for a ride.
No thought about doing wrong, nor for better alternatives.
Because it’s not about the precious life, or for lives well-lived.
It’s all to their quest of “owning the libs”.
Then there is the sense of entitlement and the “feel” of superiority that has spread to ethnicity and class.
Historically it’s been amassed to the White race.
But now in America it occupies a larger space.
Power, prestige and privilege is where it’s at.
Like spoiled brats – What some have grown to know and don’t want to let go.
It’s said, by numbers, Whites are becoming the minority.
Yet they still enjoy higher percentages in positions of power and authority.
Supposedly, the GOP have the less popular ideology and policies.
Yet they get to power to the higher degree.
Then there are “minorities” who by sheer numbers enjoy being the majority in their community.
Getting the perks and what the socialists give.
When it’s to the length and breadth of the capitalist that they live.
Just as Trump and his cronies do to their influence, control, and pots of gold.
And as Republicans who, when they rule – suppress and take.
Position themselves to make and get.
These Americans follow those footsteps to rise.
And there is no sign of guilt, only pride.
Even as they enjoy their advantage by holding to their mother-land’s language.
You would think they learned as they were given a chance at re-birth and growth.
Instead they promote what they fled – Corruption and government overreach.
Improper use of political power even with the military.
They should know better and stay clear of rulers like Maduro and Castro.
Instead, now that they are at the head and run the show.
Democracy is just another word.
And they’re not a united bunch.
Fighting for who they accept as “me” and “mine”, not US.
They don’t criticize, they demonize, and don’t do right for their own.
It’s to their personal corner for growth.
This assessment comes from within their community, not me.
And as many other Americans, they perceive – they can only be “free” under the GOP.
But to sustain that belief they must keep within the boundaries of lies and conspiracies.
Agree to be housed where history and diversity are blacked out.
And only certain information from particular sources can be delivered.
But it’s not a one-way feed.
It’s a two-way street.
Influencers, lawmakers, contributors and opinion makers are enslaved too.
They can only choose and produce what their people want.
Else they will be shunned.
As Fox News got whipped.
When they honestly called President Biden’s win.
Forced to back-track and segregate facts.
They continually bind themselves to contracts that are difficult to keep.
Especially since they choose to run from and escape reality.
Ironically, freedom would be more guaranteed if they chose democracy.
It’s a package deal.
Instead they settled for perception.
Perceiving freedom in their heads.
But not free enough to be honest to others or themselves.
Is it really worth the crumbs that they will get?
Even as the manipulators set the best for themselves.
The dis-ingenuity is clear.
The lack of integrity has been in open air.
The exploitation and insolence have been revealed.
Yet those deemed as inferior still shield.
Who owns who and who truly gets hurt?
It’s not the Democratic leaders who end up losing their shirts.
It’s America and her people who are deprived.
If “owning the libs” is the prize they seek.
America’s future couldn’t look more bleak.
