Ready to serve.
Trump – for his allies and those rich like him, taking what they think they deserve.
Observe – their messengers and messaging.
Those who say that taking US back will make America great are the ones who separate themselves from truth, distort reality, deny and try to bury history.
By doing that, they have no choice as they aren’t prepared to move on or build on.
So their solution has been to break down and destroy.
Their methods – ensnare, lure, distract and decoy.
Trump and his Republicans, whether they’re running the government or as the opposition, they give misinformation.
Tax-payers money being spent on investigating false claims.
Law makers and law enforcement on goose chase after goose chase.
While legitimate offenders are dismissed or ignored.
Solutions to real problems are not being explored.
As Americans make crucial decisions, those on the right aim at sowing divisions.
Making it about one side and “conservatives” are always right.
Often now they are void of sacrifice and compromise.
Americans buy into their game.
To avoid dissonance they play.
A deaf ear to other’s people’s pain and suffering.
Emboldening those who revere and show loyalty to him.
Americans – stop normalizing!
Gerrymandering, attacking voting and other Rights.
Solidifying on the “merit” of the Big Lie.
Stacking the Supreme Court by changing the rules.
Making the lower courts partisan by who they choose.
Condoning violence, cruelty and chaos.
Threats to public servants and those just doing their jobs.
Trying to discredit, defame and degrade people speaking the truth.
Accepting opinion as News and viewers being lied to.
Corruption, disrespect for the Constitution and aiming to destroy America’s Institutions.
When they and theirs say or do, it’s a free Country and free-speech is what they rally to.
To their disagreement with the opposition, they take a different position.
All about shutting down the Rights to the other side.
They’ve been dictating education and medical.
Their whims and wishes, they make legal.
Their propaganda goes to school.
They’ve been trying to enforce their religion too.
Controlling to the Republican leaders’ rules.
All along what they said made America great are now notions and concepts of hate.
All is now bad and ought to change.
Not admitting that the political Parties aren’t morally the same.
Republicans, believing they will come in short –
Cheating to win is now what they’re about.
First step – Americans need to side with truth.
How many would have the courage and faith to do?
Democrats have been getting blamed even for the woes in Republican-run States.
Not getting credit for what they do or try to.
Culpable, and held to account.
While pardons and excuses to Trump and his Republicans surmount.
Democrats, expected to rise above the divisions and blocks Republicans create.
Held to a higher standard even as Republicans change the rules mid-stream.
Democrats are still trying to deliver the American Dream of freedom, equality and securing American democracy.
Capitalism with authoritarianism, what a right-wing brew.
Who would have predicted that Americans would yearn for that type of rule?
The creation of oligarchs with a dictator in the lead.
We’ve already seen what cooks from that recipe.
Why are Americans looking to repeat?
Americans – don’t live with indifference.
Don’t decide while ignorant.
Don’t believe that when you’re living in a democracy that your freedom and Rights are always guaranteed.
It’s easy for men like Hitler, Castro, Putin, Maduro and Trump to rise.
Because people accept and then normalize the horrors that men like them say, do and intend to.
It’s after they implement the unwanted change that people will become outraged.
But by then it will be too late.
So as you do – side with truth.
Don’t stay blind – Be wise.
Understand the how, why and who you choose.
Knowing that it’s not only about you.
Who is to gain – What there is to lose.
The community, society, the Country.
And it’s not just about now.
Be kind to those who are still to come.
Allow America’s legacy to live strong.
Stop normalizing wrong!
