It’s amazing to see how easily Republicans abandoned their conservative values and ideals to stand beside Trump.
Though some seemingly had enough, they can’t get themselves to vote outside of their Party.
Even to preserve the Constitution and save democracy.
How is that?
They are willing to chance the presidency to an insurrectionist, fascist, autocrat, than check the box for a Democrat.
That’s not the behavior of patriots, or the way to demonstrate love of Country.
It’s actually a traitorous, treacherous betrayal and a dereliction of one’s civic duty.
Experts say Trump’s and Vance’s rhetoric mimic Hitler and Jim Crow.
Is that really the throw-back you’re looking for?
The sacrifices you, your family and people before us made, it would seem you would want better, seek more.
With Trump you can’t be sure, except the fact that he wants to be an autocrat, and he sides with fascists.
Somehow that’s more desirable than “socialists”.
On that front, you’ve been duped.
Democrats aren’t socialists, in fact they’ve been the ones trying to protect you.
And the side that you’re lured to, well under them, you’re more likely to lose.
How Trump presents himself to many Americans, he could be, – what Hitler was to the Jewish population.
Venezuela’s Chavez and Maduro rolled into one.
Russia’s Putin and Cuba’s Castro.
Yet he’s in the running for a second term.
He makes outrageous claims.
Says what his followers want to hear, but when it comes to serving them, there are no details.
Often he’s off the rails.
Still, many hold his signs and flags, even from groups who have so much to lose under his rule.
Thirty-four felony counts, one who instigates hate and violence, disrupts and divides – seen as worthy, fit to be President.
Sure, in 2016, you didn’t know, but since then he’s shown what he’s about.
Project 2025 tells US a lot.
Yet it’s not enough for some to separate themselves from him.
Though he’s even more self-absorbed and has been darkening.
Doubling down on cruel, horrible, despicable, angry, race baiting and polarizing.
He continues to be appealing.
When you permit Trump and his corrupt, crooked, unprincipled, dishonest Republicans to lie to you in order to get your votes, when do you think they will start being truthful?
In their bid for the Presidency, other political and public servant seats, Trump, Vance and their Republicans feel the need to cheat and “make up stories”.
So if they win, what makes people think, they will voluntarily flip the switch?
If you hand them the most powerful positions with powers unchecked, what do you expect, or expect to get?
Be prepared, and remember, with them there is no opposition, only enemies.
