Not for Black, but embracing dark

Trump and his team are strategic when it comes to who and what they lure in order to get votes.
Less so, in terms of solutions.
They don’t consider the consequences, who they hurt or for the long-term.
They promise simple and quick.
But that comes with the loss of democracy.
Making a dictatorship seem more attractive and appealing.
Their voters too are not thinking all the way through.
That the power, status and money they so desire isn’t guaranteed in Trump Country.
Yet they’re willing to relinquish their Rights and Freedoms for that chance.
Believing that a proven untrustworthy man will do right for them and the Country.
With no concern for his lack of character and integrity.
Not just valid when it comes to Trump but seemingly his entire base.
How easily democracy and America as a beacon can be erased.

Trump and his team, their winning strategy has been to play up negativity.
Appeal to the darkness that lie in people’s hearts and souls.
Knowing that many are easily enticed by a macho, strongman stance.
Attracting those reluctant, hesitant and in doubt that a woman, Black or Democrat ought to be the president.
An easy squeeze since Vice President Harris represents all three.
On the campaign, through ads, social and news media, Trump and his team relentlessly lie and mislead.
And viewers don’t see fact-checking as a need.

Fascist, racist, misogynistic baits don’t seem to turn voters away from Trump.
But the slightest slip from Vice President Harris or her surrogates, they are ready to dump.
Able to turn the truth to favor their side.
Easily done as there are no rules for them to live by.
They can successfully label the warnings that Trump and his Republicans are a danger to our Democratic Republic as violent rhetoric.
While their violent rhetoric is covered by free speech and it’s them being real.
They are just telling it as it is – No bulls- -t.

It’s been disgusting to see, the lack of fairness as well as the absence of humanity.
How Trump behaves at his rallies and what’s embedded in his campaign.
It doesn’t stay with him but spreads to his hosts and his followers who choose to confine their hearts and their minds.
Laughing at people who have gotten hurt, grieve, experienced trauma
and tragedy.
Often targets for jokes by their presidential nominee.
An 82-year old man, hammered in the head.
Amber Thurman a mother of a 6-year-old, dead.

So much has been exposed, Republicans and Trump suppressing and sowing doubt when it comes to the vote.
Based on unsubstantiated claims.
Americans accepting the marriage of billionaires to the Trump campaign.
Practically selling positions and favors.
Engaging in behaviors that are weird, dangerous, un-American and against democracy, even reality.
Those who follow Trump have already given up their Rights and Freedoms.
Their freedom to be – as they pledge blind loyalty.
They release their Right to think.
It’s all about following.
Despite what they’ve previously said and believed, they join and commit to the “team”.
From then on they can’t disagree.
And they must accept Project 2025 as a blueprint of how Americans ought to live their lives.
They’re making that decision, not just for themselves but for everyone else.
And once it’s set to that track, there’s no easy way to turn back.
They may not like Black, but they’re all in when it comes to going dark.
