There is a phenomenon with some as they move along.
It’s no longer just to get ahead –
It’s their negative attitude toward the rest.
Not for them to get by –
They must bring down the other guy.
They believe they deserve more.
That they are better or superior.
As long as they get their wish.
Even if it means being selfish.
No motivation to help people who are seen as different.
I and me versus them, has been gaining traction.
No longer for US, nor to include the masses.
But it goes further – denying others their chances.
Hoarding for their own.
How low are they willing to go?
And why do they have a need to oppress and suppress?
Again and again and again.
The more we let this go on.
The less civil we will become.
Less with care, more with gain.
Then an all-out aim for the win.
Does this sound familiar?
Well, it’s already here.
We’ve seen it with our leadership.
And in our politics.
It’s trickled down to some with their social interaction
And with their communication.
Also factored into their decision-making.
Circling back to their political affiliation.
As with the virus, if we don’t work to contain it.
It will spread.
And just like the virus, even if we deny it.
It won’t just disappear.
Many think One-Way.
But a Two-Way street may be more efficient.
And in life’s race,
If we all move at a steady pace,
It will make for a better flow
Than if some go fast and others are slow.
There are others who can’t keep up
And likely will slow us all down
But if they get what they need
To bring them up to speed
It will benefit US all in the long run.
