Down-played the virus and withheld crucial information.
A deliberate maneuver as they informed Wall Street
And not the People.
Despite knowing that the virus was lethal.
They allowed for the spread of Covid-19.
Which then caused a downturn of the economy.
Trump and his minions failed to follow the guidelines.
From the start they rejected the science.
Then they undermined the Governors and other leaders
Who tried to implement preventative measures.
Didn’t coordinate a Federal response.
Didn’t act quickly to ensure
The availability of personal protective equipment.
It’s not just the negligence and complacency.
They went ahead to spread lies and misinformation shamelessly.
Encouraging behaviors in leaders and citizens
To go against the experts to whom
We all should have been listening.
Even when the virus reached the White house
That wasn’t enough for them to change their course.
Trump was hospitalized after experiencing Covid-19 symptoms.
Then benefited from the Government/Socialist medical interventions.
The very thing that he, Republicans and their supporters
Are fighting against.
A talking point he used as political leverage on his campaign trail.
Then despite his positive diagnosis,
He refused to cover his mouth and nose.
And continued to heckle and disparage those who did so.
Then he went on his rallies where he had people packed in.
From eighteen super spreader events
30,000 confirmed cases of Covid.
Estimated 700 of rally attenders dead.
People still risking their lives and their health.
No acceptance of responsibility from the President.
Placing the blame on the doctors instead.
Blood on their hands.
Trump, Republicans, allies and voters are pushing.
There will be more blood on their hands if he gets elected again.
As they will likely succeed to take away the Health Care that’s so needed.
In the middle of a pandemic while there is increased unemployment.
Anyhow you take it, there is no guilt.
That’s the sad part about it.
We’ve all been made aware.
And many still don’t care.
Another notch for insanity.
A huge blow to humanity.
In our Society, it’s already happening.
People have become numb and indifferent
To pain, death, and suffering.
Better buckle in –
