Directly to affect politics and elections too.
Buying into the extreme with deliberate deception.
Usage of words and information as weapons.
Leading people to believe in another reality
That has and will be detrimental to democracy.
Americans getting a taste,
Reinforcing and choosing to stay with it.
Then finding a leader who consumed as they.
Simplifying and endorsing, leading to the same.
Creating a brew too addicting to refuse.
Now many are hooked,
Not wanting to let go of what they now know as home.
Reluctant, not likely to stray from their zone.
More and more, the erosion of truth.
Radicalized views mainstreamed as factual news.
People no longer see worth to standing with truth.
So they are more likely to succumb to mind melts and psychological abuse.
We need to keep strong – Our body, spirit and mind.
One of Trump’s effective weapons was keeping us exhausted and tired.

Bombarding US with different views
Making some confused.
Engaging in gas-lighting first.
Which paves the path that he would have us go.
For the 2020 Election,
He prepared people to follow in his direction.
First he set up the expectation –
Gas-lighting that he will win.
Repeating, repeating – until it sticks.
Nothing else will then be acceptable.
Yes, people are that malleable.
Then where he can, he cheats.
Does whatever to curb his defeat.
Tampering, intervening to slow the mail.
Robo-calls to targeted people so they will stay away from the voting polls.
There were other ways he aimed to control –
Sending his army near voting centers to intimidate.
And whatever, whenever he can to frustrate.
Continually sowing doubt.
Just in case, for him it didn’t work out.
Encouraging his people to vote on Election Day and in person.
So that day there will be a surge for him,
And in people’s mind, it will equal a win.
Anticipating that the mail-in votes will go to Biden.
So when he seemed ahead, it gave a false sense of victory.
As he continued with more trickery.
Wanting to stop or continue the counting of votes
Depending on where he stood.
His followers buying in.
By now they are fully invested.
Making it difficult to walk away from the charade.
So they double down just as he
Believing in all the conspiracies.
Like when someone is in an abusive relationship.
Too sucked in to consider change.
So a deliberate decision is made.
Then even more difficult to waiver from it.
No cutting their losses to move on
Backing out, no longer an option.
Convincing themselves there is no other choice.
Even if the ship is sinking, they are willing to stay on.
Despite the possibility of all going down.
Trump knows that some Americans are vehement.
They will not be ruled by government.
With that being their priority
They move to reject authority.
That’s why he branded himself as different.
And tried to keep his distance.
Staying arms-length from the politicians.
Not acting “Presidential” –
When in truth he’s the head government official.
Now he’s preparing for when he is out of office.
Solidifying his followers.
Seems he wants to dump Fox News.
They dared to speak some truth.
So he’s endorsing media that’s even further to the Right.
His control and influence will become more airtight.
When he says jump, they dutifully ask how high.
Even willing to die when he gives the battle cry.
And now for other Republicans to move up.
They have to become more Trumpian.
Sending the Party even more to the side of radicalized.
More corrupt, less truth.
If you stay with Republicans, that’s what you’re agreeing to.
