Accepting of all that Trump does.
Still showing pride with Trump flags and signs.
Alongside crèches, crosses and other décor.
He’s still high in their standings.
Irrespective of his behavior.
Others try to walk the line.
Fool themselves into thinking that all is fine.
To choose Trump and claim they don’t care much for his tweets.
Supposedly liking his policies.
Of which there have been few.
Preferring he didn’t engage in his extra-curricular activities.
But they need to face the truth.
There is no way to separate –
The ways from the man.
The attitude from his plans.
His character from his actions.
Defending him is like trying to do the same to the KKK.
Saying they would be good people –
If only their ideology wasn’t based in hate.
All of him and all he does.
All encompassing, affecting US.
Knowing who he is and the direction he’s been taking.
By choosing him, they have a hand in what’s breaking.
No more excuse or circumventing the truth.
It was the second time.
People went in with eyes open wide.
So what Trump is doing is what these people want.
Too late to displace blame or claim ignorance.
This time around, that choice of Trump –
Full acceptance of him and endorsement of his dumps.
You can’t claim that you’re somewhat pregnant.
Either you are or you’re not.
It’s worth to note that this isn’t limited to Trump.
There must be purpose for those who still vote for Republicans.
When they’ve show no spine to defend Country or Constitution.
Nor have they held Trump accountable.
Voters could have sent a message that this is not acceptable.
Instead they added Republicans to the House.
Reinforcing and endorsing what they are doing and what they’ve done.
Those who signed up with the Republicans and Trump.
Are willing participants in what they’ve laid out.
Numb to abnormal, immune to shame.
Indifferent to guilt, light on humane.
Distant to truth, absent on values.
Tolerant of death, non-caring,
Blind to pain and suffering.
Insensitive to cries, impermeable to pleas.
Power, win and gain is now their disease.
No chance at introspection.
There has already been an evolution.
No more pretense, no such thing as being on the fence.
The leaders have their breed of sycophants.
Who empowered them to do whatever they want.
None of them can claim that they’re for the Constitution.
Or that what they stand for is American.
No vindication, just realization.
Living among US – Members of the Tribe of Trump.
And no longer can they play dumb –
It’s been their choice to become one.
