2020 – What a year!
No matter what is in the air –
May you find your cherish and cheer.
Feel renewed as the New Year comes through.
And even though you have to stay physically distant,
Here is hoping that you live beyond mere existence.
Find ways to be social and keep loved ones close.
Although unable to travel,
May your life’s journey keep you on safe roads.
That you can make plans which bring you fulfillment.
Be blessed with hope and resilience.
As you cover your nose and mouth.
That you can still stop to smell the flowers.
And find kind words for yourself and others.
May you always find ways to share.
With those you befriend but can’t be near.
You may think you lack gifts.
Often they are there – may you find them and reel them in.
May your soul not be tainted by the negative that surrounds.
That there is a rainbow beyond the clouds.
May you have the patience and discipline, needed to endure.
The motivation to keep going for now and the long haul.
May you recognize that you won’t have, and can’t do it all.
Yet still enjoy and find joy in the positives others do and have done.
And may you always have strength as life continues on.
